Animal Health Clinic strives to provide a variety of affordable vet services for dogs and cats.  Our newly expanded facility offers two private exam rooms, a treatment area, surgical suite, digital radiography, and in-house laboratory.  Animal Health Clinic also offers basic dental scaling/polishing services and simple tooth extractions.  Scroll down this page to see additional information on these services we offer.

Wellness Exams

Wellness visits are vital part of your pets life.  Keeping up with your dog or cat's annual visits, not only keeps them up to date on their important vaccines, but also allows us to address any concerns and possibly catch problems before they arise.  A basic examination may include a look at your pet's eyes, ears, teeth, and reflexes, as well as a listen to their heart and lung sounds.   Wellness visits may also include periodic bloodwork.  Your vet will work with you to meet your expectations for your visit and also do what they feel is best for your pet.

Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are a part of your pets health care.  Vaccines protect your pet from diseases they can get from other pets as well diseases they can get from wildlife and the environment.  Our clinic employs a protocol that follows the recommendations of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) guidelines.

Digital Radiography

We are excited to offer digital radiography services on our brand new Idexx system.  This system allows us to take much more precise images of your pet and have them available to view quickly.  

In-House Laboratory

Our In-house laboratory is outfitted with the latest in Idexx blood chemistry and urinary analyzers.  These systems are able to use smaller samples and run tests in under 15 minutes.  This means we are able to provide you with results on your pet's bloodwork or urinalysis during the time you are here for your appointment.  All of our analyzers are linked to our clinic network making it easy to share results and images with you or your referral veterinarian.

Dentistry

We offer dental cleanings and simple extraction services to both our dog and cat patients.  Our dentals are all performed with the use of anesthesia.  A general cleaning involves scaling away tartar, calculus, dirt and debris with our ultrasonic scaler and polishing each tooth with pet grade prophy paste for sparkly teeth and a fresh mouth.

Nail Clipping

One of our favorite things to offer our clients is nail clipping services.  We are able to accommodate your pet in between groomings or put you on a set schedule to make sure your pet's nails stay trim.  We are also able to provide services involving the use of anesthetics or behavior modification medications for those dogs and cats who are less than happy to have their feet touched.
